“I Touched the Clouds”
Ever since I was little, I always looked up and wondered. What do the clouds feel like? Are they soft? Do they move when you touch them? Are they cold or warm?
Back then, of course, I didn’t know. But still, I kept dreaming.
Day after day, I would lie on the grass, stare at the sky, and imagine. I pictured myself flying—freely, effortlessly. I saw myself drifting between clouds like a bird that never needs to land. At the time, it felt impossible. After all, it was just a dream—something far away, something I believed I could never really reach.
However, as life often reminds us, dreams don’t disappear—they simply wait for the right moment.
Then one summer morning, that moment finally arrived. I found myself standing on the edge of a mountain, ready to fly. At first, my heart was racing. My hands felt cold. The wind wrapped around me gently. Below, the valley opened up like a painting. Above, the clouds were moving, inviting me in.
Before I could overthink, we ran.
Almost instantly, the ground vanished beneath my feet.
Just like that, I was flying.
There was no engine, no noise—only silence, wind, and sky. At that point, I looked ahead, and there they were. The clouds. Real. Alive. Moving just beyond my reach. So, I stretched out my hand. And then, to my amazement, I touched one.
It felt like a breeze—cool, light, and playful. Naturally, I laughed. Not because anything was funny, but because joy had taken over. I was finally in the sky. I was part of it. And everything I had once dreamed about… was now unfolding around me.
As we floated higher, we moved through soft wisps of cloud. Sometimes they circled us like gentle mist. Other times, they opened and let the sunlight pour through. Moment by moment, I was filled with wonder. Honestly, I didn’t want it to end.
Eventually, though, we landed. I stood still, not because I was tired, but because I was overwhelmed—in the best way. I felt peace and joy. Most of all, I felt something I’ll never forget: the pure, beautiful truth that even the wildest dreams can come true.
So, if you’ve ever looked up and wondered… now is your chance. Say yes. Take the leap.
Because the clouds are waiting—and they’re closer than you think.
